Presentation Tips #1

Give yourself a good talking to.

Practising positive self-talk before a presentation is vital, no matter what your level of nerves. Tell yourself out loud that you believe in yourself, because if you do not, then no one else will.

Testimonials

I really enjoyed yesterday’s course - in fact I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a course so much!

To be honest I wasn’t expecting to get much out of it as I hadn’t been approached about what I felt my needs might be, nor what my previous experience might be. So although I was prepared to keep an open mind in many ways I felt it would probably be a case of just going through the motions of attending a corporate training programme - how wrong I was !

It was a truly excellent refresher course, but much more than that it was a really positive experience !

Your constant encouragement, constructive critiques balanced with positive praise was most refreshing - and so much more uplifting and helpful than the approach of another training organization whose approach has been one of constant increasing pressure with their presentation (and other) exercises.

I have come away from yesterday feeling very positive about trying new approaches, with increased confidence, and generally feeling that “my batteries have really been recharged” and full of energy. I have also spoke to another person who attended the training and have heard them play back the same messages to me !.

So in summary, as you told us “3 is powerful number” (and as I said on the course appraisal form) - Excellent - Excellent - Excellent.

I hope and will look forward to any future training sessions run by yourself.

Thanks once again.
